It all started when...

Keeping if funky for the kids of Japan and now Williamsburg, NY.

Soul Patrol for Funky Kids is the children's music project by Mark Palmer and Anthea White of The Hipstones. The project first began in 2004, when Mark and Anthea were living in Japan and met Akiko, who asked them to perform at her family's kindergartens in a town of north Japan called Aomori. Every year since 2004, Mark and Anthea and saxophone player, Matthew Ottignon, have gone back to Aomori to perform for the children of Utou Kindergarten's.

Now the Soul Patrol of Funky Kids performs funky kids songs the first Saturday of every month at Brooklyn Denim in Williamsburg, New York. LISTEN on SPOTIFY
